Wellbeing Day - Resilience: The Power Within (Updates)

Students in Reception to Year 12 are invited to come and enjoy a range of fun and wholesome activities at our event Wellbeing Day, Resilience: The Power Within. This exciting day will take place in Week 5, in line with Book Week. It will be an amazing opportunity to engage in exciting sessions, meet 91 staff and students, and connect with our school community through our school values. For students who are unable to attend the face‑to‑face sessions, a limited number of online sessions will be available.

Spaces are limited, so mark your calendars to book and secure your preferred session. Within 24 hours of registering, parents/carers will receive a consent form via email from EdSmart.
Reminders and Updates
Book Week: This Wellbeing Day falls during Book Week. The theme this year is “Book an Adventure.” At lunchtime, there will be a photo opportunity for those who wish to come dressed as their favourite book character.
Bake Sale: There will be a bake sale on the day, with proceeds going to charities that support young people in need. If you would like to purchase from the bake sale, please bring a gold coin donation.
Values Passport: If you already have a Values Passport at home from a previous Wellbeing Day, please bring it in. If it has been misplaced, a new one can be collected upon signing in.
Your Guide to Wellbeing Day, Term 3 – Quick Video!
Feeling unsure about the day? We’ve made a short video to walk you through it. You’ll see where to sign in, what the day will look like, and a quick tour of some changes around campus due to construction—so you’ll know exactly what to expect.
Important Information:
- Students must sign in at 8:45 AM at Student Services before heading to the Hall for induction and welcome. Students must sign out at 3:00 PM at Student Services before leaving. Students cannot leave the site during the school day.
- Students will need to bring: water, a snack for recess time, a packed lunch and clothing that is comfortable and allows for movement. Please note, a bake sale is being held to raise money for a selection of local charities. If students would like to purchase baked goods, please bring a gold coin donation.
- If students are not attending Wellbeing Day, they are to attend classes as per normal.
- Financial assistance is available for students where Open Access College is the enrolling school and who live 80km from Adelaide CBD to attend face to face events.
- Photos may be taken by staff at this event and published on our website and Facebook page. If you have returned a media consent form at enrolment for 2025, no further action is needed. You can confirm whether a media consent form is on file by checking the Daymap Connect Parent Portal. - During an incursion or excursion students are expected to keep their mobile devices switched off or on silent and store them in their bags unless instructed otherwise. For further information refer to our .
- If the event is cancelled, students, parents and caregivers will be notified at the earliest possible opportunity via text message, and students will be required to attend their normal timetable lessons.
